How to prepare Radish fry

Radish is mostly having water content. Radish is very healthy vegetable. It is rich in Vitamin C which helps to reduce the risk of Cancer and keeps our body cells healthy. Radish is helps to control the blood pressure and it is good for diabetics. Having radish helps to maintain our body's sugar level. If we add radish in our diet, we can beat cold and cough also. Mostly we don't like this vegetable. But preparing like this will be very healthy and tasty. Let's prepare Radish fry.
Basic information :
Preparation time : 5 Mins
Cooking time : 15 Mins
Serve for : 5 Persons
Ingredients :

Radish : 1/2 kg
Sambar onion : 1 Cup
Red chilly : 6 Nos
Tamarind : small round
Mustard : 1 Tsp
Oil : 3 Tsp
Salt : As per taste
Turmeric powder  :  1/4 Tsp
Method :
Peal off the radish and cut into medium pieces.
Grind sambar onion, red chilly, tamarind as a semi paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard. After mustard pops, add chopped radish and fry well with adding turmeric powder and salt, till the raw smell goes.
Add ground paste and little water and allow it to boil.
After boil and fried transfer to the serving dish and serve hot.

How to prepare Tomato curry

Tomato curry is a easy prepare curry and it is very tasty. This curry is combination with Idly, dosa, chapathy and rice. We can make this curry in less time. It is a full tomato flavored with coconut gravy. Idly with tomato gravy is one of the favorite recipe in my home. Let's prepare the tasty Tomato curry.
Basic information :
Preparation time : 10 Mins
Cooking time : 15 Mins
Serve for : 5-6 Persons
Ingredients :

Oil:2 Tsp
Cinnamon:3 Nos
Cloves:4 Nos
Cardamon:1 No
Onion:1 No
Tomato:1/2 Kg
Green chilly: 1 No
Ginger Grated:1 Tsp
Coriander leaves:Few
Curry leaves:Few
Salt :As per taste
Turmeric powder:1/4 Tsp
Chilly powder:2 Tsp
Coriander powder:2 Tsp
For grind :
Coconut pieces : 1/2 Cup
Fennal seeds : 1 Tsp
Garlic : 3 Nos
Method :
Grind the grind ingredients as a paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add cinnamon, cloves, cardamon. Add sliced onion, green chilly, ginger, curry leaves and fry well.
Add chopped tomatoes and fry well till the tomato got smashed. Add salt to quick fry.
Add  the masala powders, salt and fry.
Add ground paste and water and stir. Allow it to boil till the raw smell goes.
After the raw smell gone, transfer to the serving dish and serve hot.

How to prepare Soya chunks curry

Soya chunks is a high protein and rich in fiber. We can use soya chunks instead of non vegetarian. This curry is a tasty and the taste will be like non-veg curries. When we are not able to have non-veg, we can prepare soya chunks curry in non vegetarian style and taste. let's prepare the tasty Soya chunks curry. I am taking small size soya.
Basic information :
Preparation time : 10 Mins
Cooking time : 15 Mins
Serve for : 4 Persons
Ingredients :

Soya chunks : 200 Gm
Turmeric powder : 1/4 Tsp
Onion : 1/2 Cup
Chopped ginger : 2 Tsp
Garlic : 5 Nos
Tomato : 1 Nos
Chilly powder : 11/2 Tsp
Coriander powder : 2 Tsp
Garam masala powder : 1/2 Tsp
Curry leaves : Few
Salt : As per taste
Fennel seeds                 :  1 Tsp
Cumin seeds                 :  1 Tsp
Method :
Soak the soya chunks for 30 minutes, and presser cook with adding turmeric powder and salt in 1 whistle.
Heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds, cumin seeds, chopped onion, ginger, garlic, curry leaves and fry well.
Add chopped tomato and fry well.
Add cooked soya, all the masala powders, salt and fry.
Fry till the raw smell goes and water gets dry.
After well fried, transfer to the serving dish and serve hot.

How to prepare Pearl millet or Bajra porridge (Kambu koozh)

Pearl millet is known as Kambu in Tamil, Gantilu in Telugu, Bajra in Hindi, Sajje in Kannada. It is one of the very healthy millet. It contains full of Vitamins, Minerals and amino acids. Kambu helps to reduce weight loss and it works well in diabetics. Among all millet, Pearl millet (Kambu) contains maximum amount of Iron contents. Ingredients :

Kambu : 200 Gm
Butter milk : 1 Cup
Chopped onion : 1 Cup
Salt : As per taste
Method :
Clean the kambu, take out stones and grind as powder.
Add water,and cook the kambu powder well and keep for 4-5 hours or boil in overnight.
Next morning, mix butter milk and salt in porridge.
Add chopped onion and mix well and transfer to the serving dish and serve with pupped or pickle.

How to prepare Banana flower vada

Banana flower is rich in vitamin A and C. It is good especially for ladies. Using this flower, making vada is very tasty and healthy. But we have to clean this flower. Inside, we have to take the stem with bud and transparent leaf. Otherwise, the it will make bitter taste. It is the best combination with evening tea. Ingredients :
 
                                       

Banana flower : 1 No
Chana dal : 1/2 Cup
Fennel seeds : 2 Tsp
Red chilly : 10 Nos
Garam masal powder : 1 Tsp
Salt : As per taste
Onion : 2 Nos
Garlic : 5 Nos
Curry leaves : Few
Method :
Soak the chana dal for 15 minutes. Clean the banana flower and grind.
Grind soaked chana dal, red chilly, fennel seeds well.
Add chopped onion, garlic, curry leaves,garam masala powder, salt with ground paste and mix well.
Make lemon size balls in the ground mix and press smoothly and make like vada.
Heat oil in a pan, fry the vada till it become golden brown.
After fry well, transfer to the serving dish and serve hot.

How to prepare Brinjal rice (Vangi bath)

When we got fresh brinjal, i think  to prepare different menu using brinjal. Then, my sister and  i decided to prepare brinjal rice. It is so nice and spicy. For preparing this, we need fresh and young brinjals. This is prepared with cooked rice and it is very simple rice recipe. Let's prepare the tasty spicy 'Brinjal rice'.
Basic information :
Preparation time : 20 Mins
Serve for : 4 Persons
Ingredients :

Brinjal : 1/4 Kg
Cooked rice : 1 Cup
Cumin seeds : 1 Tsp
Onion : 1 No
Curry leaves : Few
Salt : As per taste
Turmeric powder : 1/4 Tsp
For grind 
Chana dal : 2 Tsp
Urad dal : 2 Tsp
Grater coconut : 1/2 Cup
Coriander seeds : 2 Tsp
Red chilly : 4 Nos
Method :
Cut the brinjal in cubes or slices, add turmeric powder and salt and fry it.
Fry the grind ingredients and grind as powder after cooing.
Heat oil in kadai, add cumin seeds. After the seeds flutters, add sliced onion, curry leaves and fry well.
Add fried brinjal, ground powder and cooked rice. Mix well with adding salt. After mixing well, transfer to the serving dish and serve hot with pickle or any curries.

How to prepare Paneer butter masala

Paneer butter masala is one of the very tasty North Indian recipe. This can be serve as a side dish for paratha, roti, naan. It is prepared with cubed paneer, butter and onion tomato gravy. It is a protein rich recipe which can be prepared easily and quickly. If we want to fry the paneer, we can, but i dont like to fry it. So i am using without frying it. Let's prepare the tasty Paneer butter masala.
Basic information :
Preparation time : 10 Mins
Cooking time : 15 Mins
Serve : 4 Persons
Ingredients :

Paneer : 200 Gm
Butter : 2 Tsp
Fennel seeds : 1/2 Tsp
Onion : 1 No
Ginger : Small piece
Garlic : 5 Pieces
Tomato puree : 1 Cup
Cumin powder : 1/2 Tsp
Turmeric powder : 1/4 Tsp
Chilly powder : 1 Tsp
Coriander powder : 1 Tsp
Curry leaves : Few
Coriander leaves : Few
Salt : As per taste
Sugar                     :  1 Tsp
For white cream
Cashew nut            : 5 Nos
Milk                       : 1/2 Glass
Method :
Grind onion, ginger garlic as a paste. soak cashews in milk for 5 minutes and grind as paste. Cut the paneer as cube and put it in water till it use. Heat a kadai, add butter. Add fennel seeds. After the fennel seed flutters, add ground onion paste and fry till the raw smell goes.
Add tomato puree and fry well. Add all the masala powders, salt, sugar and fry well. Add water till the raw smell goes.
Add white cream  paste.  (Adding cashew paste is to avoid the sourness of the tomato). After the raw smell goes, add cubed paneer and stir smoothly.
Keep it in low flame for 2 minutes and transfer to the serving dish and serve hot with naan or roti.
