Paneer butter masala is one of the very tasty North Indian recipe. This can be serve as a side dish for paratha, roti, naan. It is prepared with cubed paneer, butter and onion tomato gravy. It is a protein rich recipe which can be prepared easily and quickly. If we want to fry the paneer, we can, but i dont like to fry it. So i am using without frying it. Let's prepare the tasty Paneer butter masala.

Butter | : | 2 Tsp |
Fennel seeds | : | 1/2 Tsp |
Onion | : | 1 No |
Ginger | : | Small piece |
Garlic | : | 5 Pieces |
Tomato puree | : | 1 Cup |
Cumin powder | : | 1/2 Tsp |
Turmeric powder | : | 1/4 Tsp |
Chilly powder | : | 1 Tsp |
Coriander powder | : | 1 Tsp |
Curry leaves | : | Few |
Coriander leaves | : | Few |
Salt | : | As per taste |
For white cream
Cashew nut : 5 Nos
Milk : 1/2 Glass
Method :
Add tomato puree and fry well. Add all the masala powders, salt, sugar and fry well. Add water till the raw smell goes.
Add white cream paste. (Adding cashew paste is to avoid the sourness of the tomato). After the raw smell goes, add cubed paneer and stir smoothly.
Keep it in low flame for 2 minutes and transfer to the serving dish and serve hot with naan or roti.
