Methi chicken is prepared with chicken pieces and fresh methi or fenugreek leaves. Fresh methi leaves is calcium, potassium and iron rich leaves. While adding this with chicken, it gives nice flavor and very good aroma to the chicken. The taste also very nice and you can get the different flavor. Oil | : | 3 Tsp |
Wash the chicken pieces with turmeric powder well. Grind ginger, garlic and green chilly as paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add onion slices, curry leaves and fry well.
Add ground ginger garlic paste and saute well. Add chopped tomato, capsicum pieces and saute.
Add washed chicken pieces and all the masala powders and salt, saute well.
Add little water and close the pan with the lid.
After the chicken cooked well, add chopped methi leaves and saute well.
Cook the curry till the leaves cooked well and the gravy becomes thick, switch off the flame and transfer to the serving dish and serve hot.
