Basic information :
Time consume : 10 mins
Serve : 4 persons
Ingredients : 
Bitter gourd : 1/4 Kgs
Lemon : 1 No
Chilly chicken masala : 1/2 Cup
Oil : 1/4 Lr

Method :
Clean the Bitter gourd and make slices.

Add chilly chicken masala, lemon juice and mix well.

Soak for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a frying pan, and shallow fry the socked bitter gourd.
Here! the bitter less bitter gourd chips is ready to serve.

How to Prepare Drumstick brinjal Sambar


Sambar is  placed a essential part in South Indian recipies. In this post, I am using simple way  to prepare Sambar as typical Tamil Nadu style. Sambar is the best for Idli, Dosa, Vada and also for Rice. Here i am using Sambar powder to make sambar easy and tasty. Everyone try this Simple Sambar and Enjoy!..
Basic Information :
Time Consume : 30 Mins
Serve : 4 Persons
Ingredients : 
Drumstick : 1 No
Brinjal : 2 Nos
Toor dal : 1 cup
Tomato : 1 No
Sambar onions : 10 Pcs
Tamarind juice : 1/4 cup
Green chilly : 2 No
Curry leafs : 10 Nos
Dhaniya : 1 Tsp
Turmeric powder  : 1/4 Tsp
Sambar masala : 1 Tsp
Cumin seeds : 1/4 Tsp
Mustard : 1/4 Tsp
Dry methi : 1/4 Tsp
Oil : 2 Tsp
Salt : As you Need
Asafotida : 1/4 Tsp

Tips :
  • We can use any vegetable or we can use all the vegetables  for Vegetable Sambar. 
  • Instead of using termerind juice, We can use raw mangoes.
  •  Brinjal, Drumstick and Mango is a best combination.
  • We can use either  asafoetida Powder or whole asafoetida.

Method :

Clean Toor dal well,  add asafoetida, Turmeric powder and 1/2 Tsp of  oil in the Cooker and leave for 2 Whistles and Keep it aside.
Heat Oil in a Kadai add cumin seeds, dry methi (Fenugreek) and mustard.
After mustard pop, add chopped sambar onions, curry leafs and cracked green chilies.
After onion turned brown, add chopped tomatoes and fry.
Add the vegetables and fry well.
Add Sambar masala, tamarind juice and salt.
Close the Kadai till the vegetables are cooked.
After vegetables are cooked, add the cooked dal and allow it to boil for 3 minutes.
Transfer to the serving dish and garnish with dhaniya.
WOW!....The Tasty Sambar is Ready!...

Basic Information :
Time Consume : 30 Mins
Serve : 4 Persons
Ingredients : 
Brinjal:3 Nos
Tomato:5 Nos
Garlic:4 Pcs
Ginger:Small Pc
Green Chilly:1 No
Curry Leafs:10 Nos
Dhaniya:1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder :1/4 Tsp
Chilly Powder:1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds:1/4 Tsp
Oil:2 Tsp
Salt:As you Need
Method :
Heat Oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Add chopped garlic, ginger, curry leafs and cracked green chilly and fry.

Add cubed Brinjal and fry.
Add chopped Tomato and fry well. Add salt for quick fry.

After Brinjal and Tomato are half-cooked,  Add  turmeric powder, chilly powder.
smash the Brinjal and Tomato with a Spoon and Add Little Water.

Close the pan till the curry is  fully cooked.  Garnish with dhaniya.

How to Prepare Potato/Aloo fry

Potato fry is placed an important role in Vegetarian dishes. This  Delicious dish is a combination for Sambar  rice, Bisi bela bath and also all variety rices. Everyone try this protein  rich dish, then whenever you think about Potato your mouth will be Watering......

Basic Information :

Time Consume : 15 Mins
Serve : 4 persons

Ingredients :

Potatoes : 1/4 Kgs
Garlic : 4-5 pcs
Fennel Powder 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder : 1/4 tsp
Chilly Powder : 1/2 tsp
Oil : 1 tsp
Salt : Need



Tips :

You can add Fennel, Garlic, Red Chilly Paste,  instead of adding  powders and Chopped Garlic.  

Method :


Peel off the Potatoes and cut into small Cubes. Heat Oil in a Heavy based Kadai. Add chopped  Garlic and Potato cubes and Fry.


Add Turmeric powder, Chilly powder, Fennel powder and Salt and Fry well.

Add little water and close the Kadai for few Minutes.

After 3 minutes, open the Kadai and Fry well.
Delicious Mouth watering Potato Fry is Ready to Serve.WOW!.......

How to Prepare Tomato Curry for Poori / Chappathi

While you are having limited time to prepare a curry, your first choice can be "Tomato Curry". It is very easy, tasty and quick recipe and also Tomato is rich in Calcium.This curry is suitable for  all tiffen items,   Especially for Poori and Chappathi.  Every one try this simple recipe and Enjoy!....




Basic Information :
Time Consume                         :     10 mins
Serve                                       :     3 Persons
 Ingredients : 
Chopped Onion      :  2 Nos
Chopped Tomato    :  5 Nos
Chopped Garlic     :  4 pieces
Curry Leafs           :  10 Nos
Coriander  Leafs    :  1 tsp
Oil                         :  2 tsp
Mustard                 :  1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder   :  1/4 tsp
Garam Masala Powder :  1/4 tap
Red Chilly Powder  :  1/2 tsp
Salt                         :  As Per Need


Method :
Step 1 : Heat oil in Kadai, put Mustard.
Step 2 : After the Mustard pop, Add Chopped Onion, Garlic, Curry Leafs, Coriander Leafs and fry.
Step 3 : While Onion turned Brown Add Chopped Tomato and fry well.


Step 4 : Then Add Turmeric powder, Garam masala, Red Chilly Powder and Salt.

Step 5 : Add some Water, close the Kadai and allow to Boil


Step 6 : After 3 minutes Boiling Transfer to the Serving Plate and Garnish.

Rich Aroma Tomato Curry is Ready to Serve Here with Poori !..........Enjoy...!!!!!

How to Make Semiya Payasam

Payasam is nothing but Kheer and  also known as pudding. Semiya Payasam is a one of the tasty sweet Recipe. It is mostly preparing in Tamil festivals. Method of preparation is very easy and quick recipe for all. Try this sweet recipe and enjoy!.....    

Basic Information:                             
 Time consume : 15 Minutes
 Serve for         : 4 persons

Ingredients  :                            

  • Vermicelli         - 1/2 cups
  • Sugar               - 1 cup
  • Milk                 - 2 1/2 cups
  • Ghee                - 1 tsp
  • Mixed nuts       - 1 cup
  • Cardamon Powder       - 1/4 tsp

TIPS: 

  • Instead  of Sugar we can add Condensed milk.    
  • We can buy  roasted Vermicelli. Otherwise we can roast it.
  • Use thick milk for more taste.
  • when grinding cardamon powder at home, grind with sugar.
  • If u want you can add saffron.

Method :
Step 1    : Take thick based frying pan, Heat ghee , add Mixed nuts. Fry till its turn brown. Drain the fried                     nuts and keep it aside.
Step 2    : Fry Vermicelli in same pan.
Step 3    : When the Vermicelli turned brown add thick creamy milk.
Step 4    : Boil the Vermicelli till it cooked.
Step 5    : Add sugar or condensed milk.
Step 6    : Add fried nuts, cardamon powder  and saffron.
Step 7    : Cook for 2 minutes . Takeout from the flame.  Garnish with nuts and saffron.

Wow! Payasam is ready to serve hot.

If you want, you can keep it in refrigerator and serve as  chilled Kheer.              

How to Make Moong Dal Payasam

"Moong dal" payasam is a very tasty South Indian dish and it's good for our health. Moong dal payasam is delicious and  iron rich dish . We can make this sweet recipe for our family get together, parties and  can be serve with evening snacks.


 Basic Information :
        Time consume  : 30 minutes
         Serve              :  4 persons

Ingredients :
  • Moong dal(pasi paruppu)   -  1/2 cup
  • Jaggery                              -  1 cup or as per  your taste.
  • Coconut milk                     -  2 small cups(1st and 2nd milk)
  • Ghee                                 -  1/2 tsp
  • Cashew                             -  1/2 cup
  • Cardamon powder            -  1/2 tsp
  • Coconut pieces                 -  1/4 cup

Method : 
Step 1    : Take 1/4 cup of water and add Jaggery  and allow to boil.
Step 2    : Boil it till the jaggery fully dissolved, then drain the jaggery water.
Step 3    : Heat ghee in a pan add cashew and coconut pieces and fry till its turn brown. Keep it aside.
Step 4    : Heat ghee in heavy based kadai, fry Moongdal for 3 seconds.

Step 5    : Add 2nd milk of coconut in fried dal and allow to boil.

Step 6    : After Moong dal is cooked, add jaggery water and cook.

Step 7    : Add 1st coconut milk and fried cashew and coconut pieces.
Step 8    : Add cardamon powder. And thats it!... delicious moong dal payasam is ready to serve.
