Seer fish is also called Vanjram meen and Nei meen in Tamil and it is a very tasty fish. It is not having thorns except center bone. So we can give it for children. Seer fish is rich in protein which helps to improve immunity power and gives energy to our body. Seer fish is preferable for all of us if you are in diet also, as it is having low sodium and average fat content. It will be more tasty, if we fry with home made masala. I am taking ginger garlic juice with masala powders as my sister-in-law suggested, and this fry was very tasty. Let's prepare the tasty Seer fish fry.

Ginger | : | Small Pc |
Garlic | : | 4 Nos |
Turmeric powder | : | 1/4 Tsp |
Chilly powder | : | 2 Tsp |
Fennel seed powder | : | 1 Tsp |
Pepper powder | : | 1/2 Tsp |
Salt | : | As per taste |
Oil | : | For fry |
Wash the seer fish well. Crush ginger, garlic and take juice. Mix all masala powders and salt with ginger garlic juice.
Marinate the fish with the mixed masala. Keep the marinated fish for minimum 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a frying pan and make shallow fry in both the sides.
After the fish fried well in both the sides, transfer to the serving plate and serve hot.
