Ingredients :
Method :Jeera rice | : | 1 Cup |
Salt | : | As per taste |
Cumin seeds | : | 1/4 Tsp |
Onion | : | 1 No |
Curry leaves | : | Few |
Lime juice | : | 1 Tsp |
Ghee or oil | : | 3 Tsp |
For grind | ||
Mint leaves | : | 1 Cup |
Green chilly | : | 5 Nos |
Ginger | : | Small piece |
Garlic | : | 5 Nos |
Grind the grinding ingredients as a paste.
Add washed rice and stir. Add water in 1:2 ratio and add lemon juice. Close the lid of cooker and keep in low flame for 20 minutes.
Then wait for 5 minutes, then open the lid and transfer to the serving dish and serve hot with raitha.

Wash the rice and keep it aside. Heat ghee or oil in a presser cooker, add cumin seeds. After the seeds flutters, add chopped onion, curry leaves and fry well.
