Pani puri is one of the favorite chat item mostly for all the kids. instead of buying outside, if we prepare at home, it will be very healthy and tasty. Making pani puri is very simple and easy. Baking powder | : | 1/2 Tsp |

Tamarind paste | : | 1/2 Cup |
Mint leaves | : | Few |
Corinader leaves | : | Few |
Ginger | : | 1/2 Inch |
Garlic | : | 3 Cloves |
Green chilly | : | 2Nos |
For masala | ||
Potato | : | 4 Nos |
Onion | : | 1 No |
Turmeric powder | : | 1/4 Tsp |
Chilly powder | : | 1/2 Tsp |
Salt | : | To taste |
Making Puri :
Mix all the ingredients for puri well and make a smooth dough with adding little oil. Cover the dough with a muslin cloth and keep it for minimum 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, knead the dough and make balls. Spread the balls with the help of chapathy roller like puri. With the spread puri, cut the small size balls or you wanted shapes. I made hearten shapes and round shapes.
Heat oil in a pan, deep fry the puries and keep it aside.
Making Pani :
Make tamarind paste. Grind coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger, garlic, green chilly well with salt and mix with the tamarind paste and water for making pani for pani puri.
Making Masala :
Cook well the potatoes well, peel off and smash it. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, saute well. Add smashed potato, turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and mix it well. Add chopped coriander leaves.
Make a hole in puri, stuff the potato masala, dip into the pani and have it and enjoy...
