Broad beans (Avaraikkai) is good for Kidney. If you have a kidney problem, you can add broad beans once in a week. This fry is a very tasty and little spicy recipe. I am adding tomato and grated coconut for more tastier. This fry is a best combination with rice and chapathi. In Tamil, its called as "Avarakkai poriyal".

String the broad beans, wash well and cut into small pieces. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard. After mustard pops, add chopped onion.
Add chopped tomato when the onion turned golden brown.

Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and fry.
Add some water and close the kadai for 4-5 minutes.

After the broad beans cooked, add grated coconut and stir well.
Transfer to the serving dish and serve with rice or chapatti.
