Cheese Bread omelette / healthy breakfast for kids

In Delhi road side, they used to sell this type of bread omelette. It was very tasty and the method of they presenting the bread also looked tempted. Every Sunday, I used to prepare breakfast with using bread. Bread sandwich, bread toast or bread omelette. My daughter likes this healthy bread omelette very much.

I used cheese stuffing in the bread. Cheesy inside, egg omelette with chopped onions and coriander leaves topping. Wow!.. Amazing.. I am very glad to share this healthy breakfast. Let us see how to prepare the tasty and healthy cheesy bread omelette.
Basic information :
Preparation time : 5 Mins
Cooking time : 5 Mins
Serve for : 2 Persons
Ingredients :
Bread : 4 Slices
Eggs : 2 Nos
Pepper powder : 2 Pinches
Salt : To taste
Oil : 1 Tsp
Chopped onion : 2 Tsp
Coriander leaves : 1 Tsp
Chilly powder : 1 Pinch
Method :
Take 4 slices of bread and slightly toast the bread slices. In a bowl, Beat eggs with salt and pepper.

Heat dosa tawa, make thin omelette. Place the toasted bread over the egg. Add shredded cheese on the top of the bread slices.

Add oil over the edges. Half turn the omelette. Again close the bread and cut into two pieces.

We can also cut into 4 pieces and add chopped onions, coriander leaves on the top. We can also sprinkle pinch of chilly powder or chat masala powder.

Garnish the bread omelette and serve hot for your kids. They will definitely like it.

Hyderabadi Mushroom Dum Biriyani \ Mushroom Biriyani \ Dum Biriyani

Biriyani in Hyderabad style is a very tasty and it's preparation method also very easy. I am preparing this yummy biriyani with using mushrooms. Mushrooms are commonly used as a substitute for non-veg. In this type of Biriyani, we need not add anything for tempering except roasting the onions. I made this biriyani with basmati rice. This gives the biriyani the perfect and original taste of Hyderabadi. It can be served with brinjal chutney or raitha.

I am preparing this in pressure cooker.. but this a dum style. We can also use heavy bottom vessel. But the vessel should be flat bottom. It is very tasty that everyone like the taste. Serve for : 4 Persons
Ingredients :
Basmati rice : 1/2 Kg
Bay leaf : 2 Nos
Cinnamon : 3 Nos
Cardamon : 3 Nos
Star anas : 1 No
Ghee : 3 Tsp
Curd : 1/2 Lr
Ginger paste : 1 Tsp
Garlic paste : 1 Tsp
Turmeric powder : 1/2 Tsp
Chilly powder : 1 Tsp
Cumin powder : 1 Tsp
Fennel powder : 1 Tsp
Salt : To taste
Mint leaves : 1/2 Cup
Coriander leaves : 1/2 Cup
Onion : 2 Nos
Method :
Heat oil in a pan, roast the onion slices till golden brown comes.
Wash the basmati rice and soak for half an hour.
Boil the water in a large bowl, add the soaked rice when the water roll to boiling. Add bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamon, star anas with one teaspoon of ghee. The rice have to be half cooked. When the rice half cooked, drain the water from the rice.
Clean the mushrooms and blanch in hot water. In a bowl, mix curd, ginger garlic paste, and all the masala powders with the blanched mushrooms. Leave it for about 20 mins to half an hour.
Take a heavy bottom pan or a pressure cooker, add soaked  mushroom with curd mix. Add chopped mint and coriander leaves. Add the cooked rice over the curd.
Add roasted onions, chopped mint and coriander leaves with 2 teaspoon of ghee over the rice.
Close tightly the pan or pressure cooker and place the cooker on the top of the preheated dosa tawa in high flame for five minutes.
After 5 minutes, put the weight on the cooker and make simmer the flame. Let it be cooked in low flame for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, switch off the flame, wait for pressure release for 5 more minutes.
After 5 minutes, open the lid. We can mix the biriyani with the masala, or we can serve as like restaurants.(Without mixing).
Hmm Ya,,,, Mushroom dum biriyani is ready to serve hot with rich aroma. It can served with onion raitha or brinjal raitha.

Stuffed garlic bread / Perfect Domino's style garlic bread

Domino's original taste of Garlic bread with cheesy stuffing. Wow!..  All the kids and even we will also tempting in the name itself. Today, I tried at home and,,,....Full of excitement I have seen from my daughter!.. She is very happy and enjoyed a lot with it's perfect taste of cheesy stuffed Garlic bread.
In this garlic bread, I added crushed garlic while kneading the dough. We can also add garlic paste or powder. I also add chilly flakes. When I was kneading the dough itself the rich aroma surrounded  the whole house. I used little butter to knead the dough. It makes the bread more softer. I'm very excited to share this recipe with you all. Let's see how to prepare the kid's most favorite stuffed garlic bread.

Kneading time : 10 Mins
for foaming : 1 Hour
Baking time : 30 Mins
Bread : 2 Nos
Ingredients :
Maida : 1 Cup
Crushed garlic : 1 Tsp
Chilly flakes : 1 Tsp
Oregano herb : 1 Tsp
Salt  : To taste
Yeast : 1 Tsp
Sugar : 1/2 Tsp
Cheese 1 Cup
Corn kernels : 1/2 Cup
Coriander leaves : 1 Tsp
Method :
Mix yeast and sugar in warm water in a bowl and leave 5-10 minutes to foaming.

Crush garlic. Keep ready with chilly flakes, oregano seasoning and butter.

In a large mixing bowl, take one cup of maida. Add salt, crushed garlic, chilly flakes, two teaspoon of butter and mix with the flour.

Mix the yeast with water for kneading the dough. Knead the dough at least 5 mins  to make softer. Leave for one hour to foaming. After foaming, again knead the dough slightly and divide equal parts.

Roll to flatten the dough with rolling pin.

Add shredded cheese, boiled corn kernels, chopped coriander leaves.

Close the dough in semi circle shape by pressing the edges with your hand.

We can also butter wash on the top..It's Optional. Sprinkle some oregano seasoning on the top. Slightly cut the dough for stripes.

Bake in preheated oven in 200 degree Celsius for 30 Mins till golden color comes on the top.

Stuffed garlic bread is ready to serve with cheesy dip with perfect aroma.

Veg Burger \ Home made Veg burger

One of my daughter's favorite out side food is burger. Every time, when we go outside for dinner, she used to ask Pizza or burger. Then I decided to try the veg burger at home. It's nice and very tasty. Normally, my husband not preferred to buy burger. But when I prepared  at home, he  liked very much. I used aloo tikki in this burger. We can use our own innovative new ideas to make tikkies, veg or non-veg. It shall be grateful to share this lovely kid's special recipe for all the kids.

Basic information :
Preparation time : 1 Hr
Cooking time : 5 Mins
Serve for : 2 Persons
Ingredients :
For Tikki :
Potato : 3 Nos
Onion : 1 No
Mint leaves : 10 Leaves
Coriander leaves : 10 Leaves
Turmeric powder : 1/4 Tsp
Chilly powder : 1/2 Tsp
Cumin powder : 1/2 Tsp
Garam masala : 1/2 Tsp
Salt : To taste
For Burger :
Bun : 2 Nos
Tomato : 2 Slices
Onion : 2 Slices
Cucumber : 2 Slices
Mayonnaise : 2 Tsp
Cheese slice : 2 Slices
Method :
Make the bun using bun recipe. The link is here..Bun recipe . We can buy bun from bakery shop.
Boil the potatoes, peel off and smash it.
Add chopped onions, Chopped mint leaves, coriander leaves, and all the masala powder with salt. Mix it well.
Make tikki size roll in the potato mix. Make bread crumbs. Dip the tiikies in the bread crumbs.
Heat oil in the frying pan, make shallow fry the tikkies in both the sides.
Cut the bun in two slices. Spread mayonnaise over the bun slices. Add potato tikki, onion slices, tomato slices, cucumber slices. Add cheese slice over it.
Close the burger and again put it in the oven for 5-10 minutes.
Veg burger is ready to serve with tomato ketch up.
