How to prepare vegetable curry with coconut milk

This vegetable curry is prepared with  mixed vegetables with thick coconut milk gravy. This is very tasty and healthy recipe. I am using drumstick and carrots only. But we can add all the other vegetable also. I am adding smashed moong dal and potatoes for thickening the gravy. Moong dal is optional.  It goes with chapathy and poori. Come let us prepare the tasty and healthy Vegetable curry with coconut milk.

Serve for : 4 Persons
Ingredients :
Coconut milk : 2 Cups
Drumstick ; 1/2 No
Carrots : 1 No
Potato : 2 Nos
Moong dal : 1/2 Cup
Oil : 3 Tsp
Onion : 1 No
Green chilly : 5 Nos
Grated ginger : 1 Tps
Garlic : 4 Pcs
Cumin powder : 1/2 Tsp
Salt : To taste
Method :
Take coconut milk as first and second milk. Boil the potatoes and moong dal separately and smash them. Chop the onion and green chilies, garlic nicely. Grate the ginger. Cut the vegetables.
Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, green chilly, garlic and grated ginger and saute well. Add cut vegetables and saute it.
Add first milk of the coconut and add cumin powder, salt and close the pan to cook the vegetables.
After the vegetables are cooked well, add smashed potato and moong dal  and mix well.
Add second coconut milk and keep it for 5 minutes.
Heat coconut oil in a frying pan, add mustard. After mustard pops, add curry leaves and 1 green chilly and add it into the gravy.
After that,  transfer to the serving dish and serve hot. Try this tasty and yummy recipe and please share your valuable comments....

How to prepare Spicy Moong dal bonda

Moong dal bonda or pakoda is preparing with yellow moong dal with adding onions, green chilies and grated ginger. Having high proteins, vitamins, minerals, fiber contents, this is a very good healthy snack for all of us. If any guest coming to your home, you can make this snack and they will not identify, this is prepared with moong dal. Being a very healthy snack, we can give it for children as evening snack. We can have it with evening tea or as side dish for lunch. We can easily prepare it in very less time. Let us see how to prepare the healthy snack Moong dal bonda.
Basic information :
Preparation time : 15 Mins
Serve for : 3 Persons
Ingredients :

Moong dal : 1 Cup
Onion : 2 Nos
Grated ginger : 1 Tsp
Green chilly : 2 Nos
Coriander leaves : Few
Salt : To taste
Oil : For fry
Method :
Wash and soak the yellow moong dal for at least 15-20 minutes.
Grind the well soaked dal adding salt. Add nicely chopped onion, green chilly, coriander leaves, grated ginger and mix it nicely like bonda batter.
Heat oil in a frying pan, take small size balls from batter with your hand and put it into the well heated oil.
Make deep fry in all the sides. After fried well, transfer to the serving plate and serve hot.

How to prepare Aloo paratha \ Potato parota

Aloo parota is one of the favorite Punjabi recipe. It preparing with wheat bread and potato stuffing.  This is very tasty and easy recipe. Having more proteins and minerals, this parota is a healthy tiff-in item. My daughter likes this very much and i will prepare this for her lunch box. It is very good breakfast for weekends. This can be have with curd, pickle or with coconut chutney. In stuffing, i am adding pepper powder for spicy. We can add chilly powder also. Come let us prepare the tasty Aloo paratha.
Basic information :
Preparation tme : 20 Mins
Serve for : 3 Persons
Ingredients :
Wheat flour : 1 Cup
Potato : 3 Nos
Onion : 1 No
Pepper powder : 1/4 Tsp
Salt : To taste
Oil : 2 Tsp
Method :
Make fine dough with using wheat flour and keep it aside.
Biol the potatoes, peel off and smash it. Add nicely chopped onion, salt, pepper powder and mix well. Make small lemon size balls.
Kneed the dough well and make lemon size balls
Press the ball and spread it like puri.
Put the stuffing ball over the puri and cover it with the dough.
 
Spread the dough with stuffing smoothly by chapathy stick or with your hand and make paratha.
Heat a thava and bake the paratha in two sides evenly.
After baked well, transfer to the serving plate and serv hot.

How to prepare Cauliflower egg fry

Cauliflower or Gobi egg fry is egg dipped Gobi fry. I learnt this recipe from my mother. In my younger days, my mother used to prepare this fry very often. I and my sister will eat while my mother cooking time itself. We likes very much and obviously the taste also very yummy. The ingredients also very less. Mostly all of us will like Gobi fry and when we are adding with egg. This fry gives more taste and health also. It is very easy and quick method of preparation. I am very happy to share my mother's recipe with you all. Let's see how to prepare Gobi egg fry.
Basic information :
Preparation time : 15 Mins
Serve for : 3 Persons
Ingredients :

Cauliflower : 1 No
Egg : 2 Nos
Turmeric powder : 1/4 Tsp
Chilly powder : 1 Tsp
Salt : To taste
Oil : For fry
Method :
Cut the Gobi and add salt, turmeric powder and keep it in hot water for cleaning. After cleaned well, add salt, chilly powder and cook the Gobi. The water must be full dried. Otherwise we can drain the exes water.
Beat 2 eggs with adding pinch of salt and chilly powder.
Heat oil in a frying pan, Dip the cooked Gobi into the beaten egg and make shallow fry it.
As already Gobi cooked well, we need only the egg fry.
After the egg fried well in all the sides, transfer to the serving plate and serve hot.

How to prepare Paneer samosa

Samosa is one of the very good snack which everyone likes. Instead of  using usual potato, peas masala, i am preparing this samosa with paneer masala. It is very tasty and healthy also. Paneer is rich in calcium and every child will likes it. When we make our children's favorite paneer in different way like samosa, they will definitely like this snack. I am happy to share this healthy snack with you all. Let us see how to prepare Paneer samosa.
Basic information :
Preparation time : 15 Mins
Serve for : 4 Persons
Ingredients :
For flour :
Maida : 2 Cup
Rawa : 2 Tsp
Butter : 2 Tsp
Salt : 1 Pinch
Oil : 1 Tsp
For stuffing :
Fennel seed : 1 Tsp
Paneer : 200 Gm
Onion : 1 No
Grated ginger : 1 Tsp
Green chilly : 1 No
Curry leaves : Few
Coriander leaves : Few
Chilly powder : 1/2 Tsp
Salt : To taste
Oil : For fry
Method : 
Making dough :
Mix dough ingredients well as smooth dough. Kneed the dough for at-least 5 minutes to make the dough smoother and keep it for 15 minutes.
Making stuffing :
Grate the paneer. Heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds. Add nicely chopped onions, curry leaves, grated ginger, green chilly and saute well.
Add grated paneer and saute. Add chilly powder and saute well.
Making samosa : 
Kneed the dough well and make big lemon size balls. Spread the flour ball like circle as puri.
Cut the dough circle into two pieces.
Take one side of the circle and make cone shape as shown below.
Fill the stuffing into the cone and close the cone by pressing the corners with hands.
Make all the balls like samosa.
Heat oil in a frying pan,  make deep fry the stuffed samosas.
After fried all the sides, transfer to the serving plate and serve hot with tomato ketch-up, sauce or jam.
